Franklin has an Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC) for all Franklin residents between 3 & 5 years old. Franklin has 6 Elementary schools for grades K-5. They are Oak Street Elementary, John F. Kennedy Elementary, Jefferson Elementary, Helen Keller Elementary, Gerald M. Parmenter Elementary, and Davis Thayer Elementary. After elementary school, Franklin students will attend one of the three middle schools for grades 6-8. The middle schools are Remington Middle School, Horace Mann Middle School, and Annie Sullivan Middle School. All Franklin students will attend Franklin High School for grades 9-12. Franklin is known for its small town feel, yet very convenient with 2 commuter rail stops. The town of Franklin is also home to Dean College.
